Copying from bug 0001232: We are aware of the issue. Problem is that building the kmod-ib_qib on EL 8.6 leads to many errors. They are not easily fixable, so we decided not to pursue the effort. That is bad news. Good news is that you can install our kernel-ml which has this driver enabled. |

Hello, Thank you for your work. It will be a bit complicated for me to test the kernel right now, I have installed the kernel-ml package as a replacement following the first reply, and the cluster is in production. If you are *really* interested in a feedback, I can somehow plan a maintenance window during the summer, let me know if you need it could be of use. |

No rush. As of right now the driver is not working 100% (see 0001459). I can come back and ping you if we get it working. |
