| Description | I've been trying to find this for a while now and I've had some help to find a good source. Using https://github.com/cccooo/rtl8812au-centos-7.6.git and changing the Makefile, line 220 to "ifeq ($(REDHAT_VER), 7.7)", the module compiles cleanly and creates an 88XXau.ko module. I assume it would have compiled cleanly directly with Centos 7.6. Is there any chance of producing a kmod compatible version? | ||||

The following package has been built and uploaded to the elrepo main repository. Files are syncing to mirror sites and should be available shortly. kmod-rtl8812au-5.3.4-1.el7_7.elrepo.x86_64.rpm Please would you test and confirm the driver works as expected. Note, on genuine RHEL7.7 /etc/redhat-release string is: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 7.7 (Maipo) so line 219 'cut -f4' becomes 'cut -f7'. For our purposes, I simply commented out the conditional check and defined EXTRA_CFLAGS += -DREDHAT_76 in the Makefile (quick and dirty hack). |

I have installed the driver, configured it and connected through the NIC to the internet, so I assume it to be working. Many thanks |
