Acknowledging the request. We are working on an updated package and are currently performing some internal sanity tests. All being well, an updated package will be uploaded to the elrepo-testing repository in the next, say, 24 hours. Once released, independent testing will be required. A positive result will be required for the package to be promoted from the elrepo-testing to the elrepo-extras repository. |

I can confirm that linux-firmware-20190807-72.1.gitdff98c6.el7_7.elrepo.noarch.rpm Fixes my issues with the bnx2x cards. The other firmwares do not apply to my boxes. The machine came up nice and happy. I did not do any extensive testing other than making sure network came up and I could ssh to the box though. |

An excellent result. Thank you for testing the package. As the firmware is exactly that which was available from the linux-firmware git repository on Aug 7th, 2019 (hence the -20190807- version of the rpm package) it was expected to resolve your problem. Accordingly, I shall promote the package from elrepo-testing to the elrepo-extra repository. Now closing as "resolved/fixed". |
