| Description | Hi, I just installed kmod-video4linux to get the cx88-dvb module as listed on: http://elrepo.org/tiki/kmod-video4linux It is no longer included in kmod-video4linux and the wiki should perhaps be updated. I understand it is available in the centos-plus kernels now, but perhaps there is a way to still include it for those using the standard kernels? Anyway, thanks for the work on this repository! | ||||

Yes, the Wiki page needs updating - thanks. The cx88 module now requires a kernel >= 2.6.22 hence why the module is not built in the latest package. It is however included in the older kmod-video4linux-0.0-5.20090615.el5.elrepo package that is still in the repository, so I would suggest you install and use that package (and not update it) if that works for you. |
