We, ELRepo, can only deal with packaging errors or feature requests related to kernel config files. Any bug report must be filed upstream at bugzilla.kernel.org. |

A workaround has been posted to the elrepo mailing list, quoted below: http://lists.elrepo.org/pipermail/elrepo/2017-May/003593.html Hi, just got aware of bug https://elrepo.org/bugs/view.php?id=668 We hit the same issue with kernel-lt 4.4.70 on an IBM x3690. Maybe someone can update the bug with the information that it can be mitigated with 1) Adding "mgag200.modeset=0" to kernel boot options in /etc/default/grub 2) Creating a new grub config with grub2-mkconfig -o /etc/grub....cfg Whatever config may exist (e.g grub2-efi.cfg). Best regards. Markus |
