| Description | When we try and install elrepo.org/elrepo-release-9.el9.elrepo.noarch.rpm we get the following errors. This started this morning around 0900 MDT. I had successful installations the last few days. | ||||

Looks like the problem is with the hosting site. Unfortunately we do not directly control the web server. As a temporary workaround, edit the /etc/yum.repos.d/elrepo.repo file : (1) Comment out the "mirrorlist=" line. (2) Remove "http://elrepo.org/linux/elrepo/el9/$basearch/" from the baseurl list. [update] Adjust the 'elrepo' and 'el9' part as needed. |

I connected to the hoster's chat and got this message: "Due to routine maintenance on Friday, September 12th, into Saturday, September 13th, your account manager and access to your services will be unavailable Friday, starting at 10pm Eastern. Your website will continue to function during this time. Thank you for your understanding." But it is way before "10pm Eastern" now. |

The hoster's message changed on Sep 13 to: "Please be advised that we are completing routine maintenance to our main website and systems which may affect your ability to log-in to your account or manage your services. Your website will continue to function during this time. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding." |
