| Description | I have several machines with various 3ware controllers (7xxx/8xxx, 9550SX/9650SE and 9750) that I want to install Rocky Linux 8.8 onto. When I load the latest DD for each though, the kernel panics and locks up the installation. Can you please rebuild all three of the 3ware drivers and respective driver disks for EL_8.8? | ||||

Thanks for the quick turnaround. So far I have tested the 3w-xxxx (7xxx/8xxx) driver disk successfully. Hopefully I'll get to testing the 3w-9xxx and 3w-sas this week. |

I tested the 3w-9xxx (on a 3ware 9650SE) and it detected the card and drive array just fine. It might take a few days to test the 3w-sas (on a 3ware SAS 9750-4i) though. I'm 99% sure it should be fine like the other two. |

I will be at my office on Tuesday (for a security audit), so I will finally be able to test the 3ware SAS 9750 card. I'll close this ticket out or work on it myself. |

Finally closing the loop with this one. The 3w-sas driver for el8_8 is confirmed working on a 3ware SAS 9750-4i. |
