Acknowledged. As a workaround, you can use existing DUDs with the install media they are released for (see the elrepo.el8_x release tag), and then perform a full dnf update once installed. But we will try to get refreshed ISO images out this weekend for el8.7. |

Hi, Upon further investigation, the latest package (kmod-megaraid_sas-07.719.03.00-1.el8_6.elrepo.x86_64.rpm) should work fine with el8.7 so no rebuild was necessary, hence no new DUD iso required. The existing ISO image should work with el8.7. We are unable to test with actual hardware (we don't have Megaraid SAS hardware), but the 8.6 package passed all our tests on el8.7 when it was released, so we have no reason to believe it will not work with el8.7. If the DUD ISO is not working with el8.7 installer, please test with the 8.6 installer and report back your findings. We have not had any actual reports that is doesn't work with el8.7. Have you tried the existing DUD ISO with el8.7? |

Hi, Thanks for looking at this. I used the 8.6 DUD with 8.7 installer and it appears to work fine. The test was on VM and not on a hardware that essentially requires megaraid_sas. But I believe this should work on those hardware as well. |
