Please review the release announcement [1], specifically the paragraph that follows the list of files -- [quote] Please note that as of this kernel-ml version we are unable to continue providing the perf and python-perf packages. [/quote] Due to decisions made upstream, it is not possible to build the perf and python-perf packages for RHEL7 where the kernel version is >= 6.0 That decision can be seen in a conversation that began last July 25, 2022.
