We do not support CentOS Stream kernels. You can install the regular distro kernel, or ask the CentOS kmods-SIG group to provide the kmod-drbd package. |

This error: # modprobe drbd modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'drbd': Required key not available would appear to imply you have SecureBoot enabled on the system and have not imported the elrepo SecureBoot signing key. Is that correct? And to avoid confusing, please can you start again and confirm the distro / running kernel / and any error messages you see. Thanks |

Thank you very much. Indeed I didn't install elrepo SecureBoot signing key. After doing so it works as expected. lsmod | grep drbd drbd 634880 0 libcrc32c 16384 5 nf_conntrack,nf_nat,nf_tables,xfs,drbd /var/log/messages kernel: drbd: loading out-of-tree module taints kernel. kernel: drbd: initialized. Thank you for reporting back and confirming it's now working. Elrepo supports RHEL, and by definition all compatible clones, including AlmaLinux. Unfortunately the kernel in CentOS Stream is not always compatible with the current RHEL kernel, hence we cannot guarantee support with Stream. Marking as resolved |
