| Description | Hello, I am having an issue with the CentOS 8 install where my SATA drives are not being seen by the system. I researched the problem to the best of my ability and then posted an information request on the forums.centos.org site – where they acknowledged my controller was no longer supported, and suggested I visit here and request for you to make a build. The hardware : I know - it's OLD Hardware (but it tries it's best) : AMD Athlon X2 based system. Southbridge: nVIDIA® nForce 430 LSPCI shows : 00:0e.0 IDE interface: NVIDIA Corporation MCP51 Serial ATA Controller (rev a1) 00:0f.0 IDE interface: NVIDIA Corporation MCP51 Serial ATA Controller (rev a1) Replacing the hardware is not in the budget for the foreseeable future, so your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
