| Description | After updating to RHEL 7.7, the machine will not load a gui (gnome in my case). Other machines without kmod-nvidia installed boot successfully after updating to RHEL 7.7. The kmod package needs to be rebuilt against RHEL 7.7 kernel. |

I've rebuilt the package as kmod-nvidia-430.40-2.el7_7.elrepo.x86_64.rpm and uploaded to the elrepo testing repository. The updated package should show up on mirror sites shortly. https://elrepo.org/linux/testing/el7/x86_64/RPMS/ You can update with: yum --enablerepo=elrepo-testing update kmod-nvidia and reboot to the new rhel 7.7 kernel. Please note I've not tested yet, so would appreciate feedback if it works as expected. Thanks |

I updated this morning.
