| Description | I use ELRepo kernel on Rocky Linux 9. Rocky (and Debian, Arch, Clear Linux etc) kernels have CONFIG_MEMTEST=y. Does not change default behavior but enables optional memory tests during boot by adding kernel command line parameter "memtest=X". | ||||

The kernel option CONFIG_MEMTEST=y is now in the latest kernel updates for kernel-ml for both el8 and el9. |
