| Description | The problem is well described and resolved in ElRepo issue 1176 (https://elrepo.org/bugs/view.php?id=1176). Can the fix (https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/32f57cb1b2c8d6f20aefec7052b1bfeb7e3b69d4) also be applied to el9/kmod-ib_qib? Right now (kmod-ib_qib-1.11-5.el9_2.elrepo.x86_64), the module loads but gives the error: sysfs: cannot create duplicate filename '/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:01.0/0000:01:00.0/infiniband/qib0/ports/1/linkcontrol' For an immediate work-around, I'll use a recent kernel-ml. Fixing & building a new module locally should also work, but I'm very lazy. Thanks! | ||||

Installed kmod-ib_qib-1.11-6.el9_2.elrepo.x86_64 and everything works now. Yay! OK to resolve issue. |
