| Description | When trying to `modprobe -vvvS 5.14.0-162.6.1.el9_1.x86_64 mpt3sas` the module fails to load, complaining about a symbol version of `wake_up_process`. Running `modprobe mpt3sas` loads the module that ships with Almalinux 9 which complains in dmesg: `Warning: Disabled Hardware is detected: mpt3sas:0072:1000 @ 0000:01:00.0 is no longer enabled in this release.` Command output is shown in additional information block. | ||||

An updated package has been rebuilt against the latest EL9 kernel and released. Updates should be available on our mirror sites shortly: kmod-mpt3sas-40.100.00.00-2.el9_1.elrepo.x86_64.rpm Please note that this updated package is built against kernel-5.14.0-162.22.2.el9_1 and is not backward compatible with earlier kernel releases.
