| Description | The mirrorlist is down and has been down for 5 days now. Due to the way dnf works, this blocks all upgrades on all systems that have this mirrorlist in an enabled repo. | ||||

Hi, Thanks, we are aware there is an issue due to a possible DDoS attack, and are working on a fix. For now I would suggest you disable the mirrorlist line in elrepo.repo and set a baseurl for a local reliable mirror that works for you. The elrepo mirrorlist should be performing better, but not perfectly. Intermittent problems my arise until we implement a more permanent solution. If the mirrorlist service is not responding to your package updating requests, then your IP/Range may have been blocked in an emergency response to limit a ddos attack on the server. Please post your IP/Range here and we will attempt to remove the block in 24-48 hours. |

The el9 mirrorlist files were not being properly served. That problem has been corrected. Intermittent mirrorlist outages are still occurring. We are working toward a more permanent solution. |

I've tested the mirrorlist for the past couple of days, but it's still unresponsive from our site. |

robert_gay_redfin (private note): Yes, both were on the block list and will be unblocked within the next 24 hr (next firewall update). A lot of high hit count sites were blocked to cut somewhat indiscriminately the load by 75% initially. Unfortunately, some of those were not malicious. Sorry about that. There are still periods in which the mirrorlists may appear unavailable due to load. I see that locally, too. We are working toward a more permanent resolution. The high load (ddos) initially knocked elrepo.org off-line. We moved the mirrorlist files to a "local" server that was never intended to provide the mirrorlist service for more than a few hours while the elrepo.org site was under maintenance. The local server has been providing the mirrorlist service for about a week now. :-) Such is the nature of Life. |

I have the same problem and I also believe my IPs are blocked. Is there somewhere we can release our IP address?
