| Description | We installed a new machine, which hardware needs kmod-e1000e for the onboard NIC. After rebooting with kernel 3.10.0-1160.36.2.el7.x86_64 the e1000e driver loaded was the original from the kernel instead of the one provded by kmod-e1000e-3.8.4-3.el7_9.elrepo.x86_64. I think kmod-e1000e needs to be recompiled against kernel-3.10.0-1160.36.2.el7.x86_64, right? Regards. | ||||

Thank you for the report. kmod-e1000e-3.8.4-4.el7_9.elrepo has been built against kernel-3.10.0-1160.36.2.el7. It was released to the main repository and is currently syncing to our mirror sites. Please note that this is not backward compatible. |
