| Description | Realtek just released a new fix for the r8168 NICs. ver 8.025.00 This update will install and solve the lockups and freezes in the Centos 5 version OS's. The kmod-r8168-024.00 does not fix this problem. Problem is that Centos 6 has changed the locations of many of the kernel files, and there needs to be a new KMOD done with this update so it will also work for the Centos 6 OS release.
