Hi,

The CentOS Stream kernel is essentially a publicly available beta kernel for the next RHEL 8.x release. For example, the current CentOS Stream kernel in CentOS 8.1 will become the main distro kernel once RHEL/CentOS 8.2 is released. As such we have chosen not to support it.

You will need to use the regular CentOS distro kernel with any elrepo packages and select the correct Driver Disk image (e.g, 8.0 or 8.1) to match the distro kernel version used.

I understand.

Could you show instructions how to build the ISO myself?

First you will need to rebuild our SRPM against the kernel in question to give you the appropriate kmod RPM driver package.

Then to build the ISO, we use a script which I will attach here for you (mkdd-v1.1). Examination of the script should show you all you need to know.

Centos 8 cannot install the bootloader, Centos 8.0 installed ok.
