No problem. :-) For EL 7.6, a simple rebuild of the current wl-kmod.srpm with the new kernel should produce a functional kmod-wl. It looks like the wireless stack of the new 7.6 kernel does not include new code from the kernel.org kernel series, so no update of the srpm should be needed for this point release. When built using the new 7.6 kernel, kmod-wl will not function under EL 7.5. |
