Description | I try to install fglrx on my laptop for updating to AMD Catalyst. OS Version: CentOS 7 Gnome 3.8.4 GPU: RV710/730 It causes system crash. After reboot, system says there are some problems cannot be recover, log out and log in again. Also command line mode(Ctrl Alt F2 F3 ...) does not work. Tried several boot mode, same issue. Reinstall the system and try to install fglrx again. Then crash again. | ||||

Could you please go to http://wdl.lug.ro/fglrx and update to the packages from over there ? Mind that a) they are not signed as they are not an official release yet b) you might need to manually rename ( or move out of way ) the file /usr/lib64/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so |

fglrx-15.11 is now available in the ElRepo testing repository and should solve the problem that was reported via this bug. |
