| Description | OrangeFS client support was added to the Linux kernel in version 4.6. Unfortunately, the orangefs module has not been compiled in the elrepo 8 kernel package (it has for the elrepo 7). This ticket is to add support for OrangeFS by compiling the orangefs module and including it with the all kernel packages >= 4.6. | ||||

With the recent release of the kernel-lt-5.4.172-1.el8.elrepo [1] and kernel-ml-5.16.1-1.el8.elrepo [2] package sets this request has been fulfilled. Now closing as "resolved/fixed".
