Summary0001166: nvidia-detect does not support device
DescriptionCentOS 7 did not detect my monitor (LG 24MP500) connected through HDMI port.
I have an NVIDIA card.
I attempted to run the following commands as root
  # yum install elrepo-release
  # yum install nvidia-detect
  # yum install $(nvidia-detect)
  # echo $(nvidia-detect)
This device does not appear to be supported at present
Please report at http://elrepo.org/bugs quoting the output from '/sbin/lspci -nn'

Hi,
Thank you for the bug report. Your device is supported by the latest 470.xx driver release, and we will need to update nvidia-detect to reflect that.

Updated packages (nvidia-detect-470.86-1) for el7 and el8 have been released to the main repository. Packages are currently syncing to our mirror sites and should be available to install shortly. This update should now detect your hardware.
