Our kmod packages are not compatible with kernel-ml (or kernel-lt), only with the distro kernels. |

maybe we need kmod-ml/lt-nvidia and etc, because it very strange - we have kernel-repo with kernel-ml and no have modules for this. I cann't switch to 3.10 because i use rtl8812au and it have problem with compile dkms, but for 4.16 it compiled without errors. |

It is not possible to produce kmod packages for non-RHEL kernels. The only reason kmod packages are possible is because the RHEL kernel uses a stable kernel ABI, and it is this unique feature that allows for the kmod packages that elrepo releases. If you use a non-RHEL kernel then you have no choice but to recompile any drivers for each and every kernel release. |

Please could you provide the vendor:device ID pairing for your Realtek device. It is possible we could provide a kmod package for rtl8812au thus allowing you to use the distro kernel with the existing kmod-nvidia packages. Assuming it's a PCI device, the output from: lspci -nn Thanks |

Tenda - U12 on rtl8812au but 5.5.20 compiling normal above kernel 4 I normal compiled dkms module on old driver 4.x for kernel 3.10 - but wifi adapter is see as Ethernet interface, not wireless - and not works normal And i switch to last 4.16 drivers, compiled and ask zebulon2 and gordboy add Tenda to mainline You can see at https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/rtl8812au-dkms-git https://github.com/zebulon2/rtl8812au-driver-5.2.20 and https://github.com/gordboy/rtl8812au I try change Makefile (for rtl 5.1.5 and 5.5.20) for kernel 3.10 but i tired fixing it... cann't compile |
