VAAPI

Video Acceleration API (VAAPI) comprises the libva library and vaapi-driver-intel, and implements the API specification. It enables and provides access to graphics hardware (GPU) acceleration for video processing.

These drivers, runtime libraries, and development files have been built to work with xorg-x11-drv-intel packages for EL6. The Intel driver for VAAPI was split and moved into its own repository (vaapi/intel-driver) with this release.

Fedora and Mandriva SRPMS were used as a basis for the updated packages.

The packages are being released to the elrepo-extras repository. The following files are included:
