| Description | Reports indicate that kmod-wl built under EL 7.4 kernels using wl-kmod-6_30_223_271-3.el7.elrepo.nosrc.rpm (created for EL 7.3) result in system crashes: 1) https://www.centos.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=64139 2) https://www.centos.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=64160 A patch has been added to the wl-kmod.srpm that may fix the problem. The updated srpm can be found on the mirrors in elrepo testing: .../testing/el7/SRPMS/wl-kmod-6_30_223_271-4.el7.elrepo.nosrc.rpm Users should --rebuild the test srpm using the protocol at http://elrepo.org/tiki/wl-kmod (modified for the srpm version number). We have no hardware to test the kmod-wl binary, so feedback on the updated srpm would be appreciated. | ||||
