No, because the 367.57 driver release from NVIDIA does not support Xorg version 1.19.3 that is present in RHEL 7.4.

So, unless nvidia adds support for Xorg 1.19, the 367.xx series is unsupported on RHEL 7

I am trying now to lock to 7.3 kernel and 7.3 xorg-server and upgrade the rest. I think it works but have to try out the apps. Thanks for your input.

We could (or you could) potentially rebuild the module against the 7.4 kernel so you could at least update the kernel too, but officially I'd rather not try to "support" something that is unsupported :-)

Presumably you have older K1/K2 hardware only supported by the 367.xx driver? If it's public facing could you just stay on 7.3EUS?

Thanks for your help. Right now I am running with these versionlocks on RHEL 7.4:

0:xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.17.2-22.el7.*
0:xorg-x11-server-common-1.17.2-22.el7.*
0:xorg-x11-server-Xvfb-1.17.2-22.el7.*
0:kmod-nvidia-367.57-3.el7.elrepo.*
0:nvidia-x11-drv-367.57-1.el7.elrepo.*
0:kernel-3.10.0-514.26.2.el7.*

I would be very interested in a rebuild of the 367 driver to match the RHEL7.4 kernel. I also assume I have to contact Nvidia to see if they will release an driver with X11 1.19.3 support for my K1/K2 cards. Thanks again for your help.

/Eric

Closed. 367.xx driver branch no longer supported on RHEL7.4 due to lacking Xorg support upstream
