| Description | Adapter loading the kmon-8188eu driver the TP Link WN725N USB wifi adapter shows up as a wired interface in "nmcli dev status" and so far I haven't been able to make it join any wifi. I see that TP link has released a more recent driver so maybe if the package on ElRepo is updated with it then it might improve the functionality. The adapter does however show up as wifi with iwconfig. | ||||

I have updated the driver and rebuilt it for the RHEL 7.4 kernel. I've uploaded it to the elrepo testing repository, and it should show up shortly: kmod-8188eu-4.1.4_6773.20130222-3.el7_4.elrepo.x86_64.rpm I updated the driver from the github repo here: https://github.com/lwfinger/rtl8188eu Please could you post the device ID for your device. The output from 'lsusb' should show it, then I can check the driver supports your particular device. Please test the updated driver and let me know if you have any more success. Thanks |
