| Description | kmod-joydev-0.0-1.el7.elrepo.x86_64.rpm fails to install on RHEL 7.3. The RHEl 7.3 kernel is 3.10.0-514. The missing dependencies: kernel(fasync_helper) = 0x124106ba kernel(kill_fasync) = 0xdd9d7a7d The versions shown above were available in kernel versions 3.10.0-327.36.xxxx The current kernel provides versions: kernel(fasync_helper) = 0xc682ddc7 kernel(kill_fasync) = 0xfbb6c6eb The joydev package needs rebuilt against the latest 7.3 kernel. | ||||

I have rebuilt this package against the RHEL 7.3 kernel which should fix this issue. The following packages have been pushed to the elrepo testing repository and should be available shortly: http://elrepo.org/linux/testing/el7/x86_64/RPMS/ kmod-joydev-0.0-2.el7.elrepo.x86_64.rpm joydev-kmod-0.0-2.el7.elrepo.src.rpm Please would you test them and report back if they work as expected for you. |
