| Description | OrangeFS client support was added to the Linux kernel in version 4.6. Unfortunately, the orangefs module has not been compiled in the elrepo kernel package. This ticket is to add support for OrangeFS by compiling the orangefs module and including it with the all kernel packages >= 4.6. | ||||

Acknowledged. Having considered the current kernel-ml configuration for both RHEL6 & RHEL7 we will enable CONFIG_ORANGEFS_FS as a module, starting with the next builds. |
