Hi burakkucat,
Thank you so much for the prompt response. So I could install the package without any issues, but my wireless adapter (to be specific, TP-LINK WN723N) is still not working properly. But I am definitely in a better place than before. Now, when I connect the wireless adapter, my CentOS network icon shows "USB ethernet" and the status doesn't change from "Connecting".
Prior to your package, I compiled and installed a bunch of other packages manually but there was absolutely no response on connecting my USB adapter. Not even the "USB ethernet" entry.

I was planning to work more on it this weekend.

From your description, I would recommend that you briefly test with encryption disabled on the wireless access point to see if you can establish a non-secure connection.

If that is successful then we will know that the problem comes down to configuring encryption for a secure connection on your system.
