Hi, This device appears to be supported by the rts5139 driver that is in the kernel staging area (for development drivers). I will see if I can backport this driver to RHEL7 for you. |

The following package has just been released to the elrepo testing repository and is currently syncing to the mirrors: http://elrepo.org/linux/testing/el7/x86_64/RPMS/ kmod-rts5139-1.04-1.el7.elrepo.x86_64.rpm It is built from the sources in the 3.10.46 kernel staging area for developmental drivers. To install this package: yum --enablerepo=elrepo-testing install kmod-rts5139 Please test this driver and report back if it works as expected. As an alternative, Alan (who develops the kernel-ml package for elrepo) tells me the rts5139 driver is also enabled in his latest kernel-ml-3.15.3 mainline kernel packages so you could also try this kernel. I installed it from elrepo-testing and it seems to be working fine; I formatted a couple of cards and copied files on and off with no problems. I'm using the 3.10.0-123.4.2 kernel from Red Hat, if that makes a difference. Thanx a ton for your help! |
