| Summary | 0000043: warning from lm_sensors | ||||||
| Description |
During shutdown, lm_sensors (the elrepo version, used together with kmod-coretemp and kmod-it87) gives a warning of this kind "Trying to free nonexistent resource <0000000000000295-0000000000000296>" This has been discussed in the RedHat bug tracker a LONG time ago (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=446061), [^] and new versions of hwmon software are apparently scheduled for inclusion in RHEL 5.5 (!). However, that thread refers to a "CentOS patch" which resolves this issue - although I am a bit confused about which version this may be... Anyway, if there is a patch to avoid this warning, maybe it could be included in the elrepo version of these packages ;) |
