Check /var/log/messages for dnf errors that occur whenever dnf-makecache runs. |

We do not control our mirrors and what connectivity they offer. There is a list of mirrors available here which details which mirrors offer IPv6 connectivity: http://elrepo.org/tiki/Download I suggest you configure yum/dnf to only use mirrors that offer IPv6 where IPv4 is not available to you. |

You may not control the mirrors and their connectivity, but you can control which mirrors are listed in the /etc/yum.repos.d/elrepo.repo file of the elrepo-release package. How about excluding mirrors that are IPv4-only from the elrepo.repo file so that dnf/yum continue to work for any host regardless of whether they are IPv4-only or IPv6-only? |

We could certainly consider adding a mirror that is IPv6 enabled to elrepo.repo. Which IPv6 enabled mirror would be your mirror of choice? |
