Summary0001055: kmod-be2net not updating from elrepo repositories
DescriptionHello, I have installed kmod-be2net package (kmod-be2net-12.0.0.0-5.el8_2.elrepo.x86_64) on my Centos 8.2 (kernel 4.18.0-193.28.1.el8_2.x86_64). I cant update the package, im getting error:
yum update

i tried using yum reinstall kmod-be2net it completed succesfully but update does not work, i need to skip the package.
Steps To ReproduceInstall centos 8 from minimal ISO. Install kmod-be2net package from elrepo. Setup network, add all needed repos. Try update kmod-be2net fails.

You are trying to update with the package kmod-be2net-12.0.1280.17-1.rhel8u0.x86_64, which is a higher version than the elrepo package.
Where is this package coming from as it's not an elrepo package.

Sorry, there was an HP-tool repository (hp-spp) that had this wrong package.

OK, so either disable that repository or add an exclude to it's config file for kmod-be2net

Yes there was a HP repository enabled that conflicted with elrepo. I removed it now.
